The product is part of the SANI project , as it contains important levels of the following nutraceutical group:
Polyphenols and Resveratrol and Anthocyanins : these are simple phenols, flavonoids and tannins, among the most represented antioxidant molecules of the vegetable kingdom. Above all they abound in fresh fruits and vegetables, but also in tea, wine, cocoa and derivatives. Their properties can be summarized in antioxidants, anti-atherogenic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. In particular, resveratrol is a polyphenol with a high antioxidant property, with proven protective functions against cardiovascular diseases. It is found in grape skin and wine but in higher percentages in red wine. The anthocyanins belong to the so-called bio-flavonoids, very common in the vegetable kingdom, they give fruit and vegetables colors ranging from red-orange to blue-violet: contained in high quantities in berries, black grapes, red orange, red grapefruit, eggplant, red cabbage, red corn and black corn.
